A word about the song and project: It’s been amazing to work on a project started from someone halfway around the globe. It’s a testament to Jesus that total strangers from different countries share the same faith and mission to see him glorified.

Lynn Young.jpg

Lynn Young

About: My name is Lynn Young and I am an independent artist based in Nashville, TN. I originate from Jacksonville, FL where my husband and I were worship directors for youth and young adult ministries at our home church. Those experiences taught us how to connect with people’s hearts and helped us to grow in our musical abilities.

I grew up as a follower of Christ in the Church and began leading worship at a very young age. That love for Jesus worship, and music has led me to where I am today. Congregational worship music is where my first love is but I currently create music in the pop, indie-pop and CCM genres. My goal is to challenge the minds and hearts of my listeners to go further in their faith and to be real in their walk with Christ. I hope to grow my music and ministry and reach as many people as I can with the love of God!

A word about the song and project: Getting to be a part of this project and collective has been such an incredible opportunity. The song “The Lords Prayer” is one that has become near and dear to my heart. To me, it is a deconstruction of the Biblical command to prayer as well as a means of application i our daily lives. The chorus of this song ties the truth in the prayer together with the faith and belief in that truth. I am excited for the body of Christ to have this song in their hands!”

Daniel Doss

About: Daniel Doss has been leading worship since he was a senior in high school. He has also been a recording artist with Sparrow Records/Capitol (formerly EMI/CMG) and staff writer with Curb/Word Worship on music row. He has written with a myriad of worship collectives, churches, and artists ranging from Maverick City and Vertical Worship to Northpoint and Passion City Church, and many others. During the week he is a songwriter, vocalist, and producer. On most Sundays he currently leads worship at New Vision of Murfreesboro where he lives with his wife of 20 years, 2 sons, and new puppy.

A word about the song and project: I serve the Lord by attempting to help people see a bit more clearly how incredible He is. I want to expand the minds and hearts of the worshipper through songwriting and worship leading. I believe the song “The Earth Is Yours” helps do just that. This song brings energy and excitement fused with a picture of an engaged and passionate creator. It was an honor to be a part of writing and recording this project.

Rachael Nemiroff

About: My name is Rachael Nemiroff and I’m a singer/songwriter based in Nashville, TN. I’m so grateful to be a part of this project and excited for Methven's journey. It was a joy getting to record “You Are My God” and I’m looking forward to seeing how God uses these songs! Thank you for having me!

Lloyd Nick.jpg

Lloyd Nicks

About: Lloyd Nicks is a member of the Kingly Common family and a St. Louis based Worship Leader and Songwriter who is bridging the gaps between Gospel, Contemporary Worship, and Pop music.

"My life radically changed when I met Jesus at age 14", he explains. "I've needed Him every day since. I lost my mom to cancer recently and it shattered me. This happened on my birthday of all days. Yet, when the pressure and grief overcame me and surrounded me, I was filled with hope. I was not alone in the middle of this and will never be alone. The God I serve never fails. He always keeps His promises! This song is a celebration of this reality."

He has been a prominent voice in Christian music in St. Louis for the past seven years. After completing a degree in Vocal Performance from Greenville University, he travelled internationally leading worship. Lloyd brings an energy and soul to the CCM world, with infectious melodies and a desire to push the boundaries of the genre. Lloyd Nicks says, "I'm ready to bring a new flare to Christian music that ignites a passion for Jesus with bold lyrics and the occasional 808."

A word about the song and project: “No Weapon was extremely fun to write. I was overwhelmed by the creativity that we were able to come up with. The song talks about how sometimes in life we are surrounded on every end. These problems may be our enemies, situations, uncertainty, and a host of other problems. In all things, we must always remember that God is always on my side, and if we look to the hill we will see our help. God is our great defender and our greatest ally when it comes to darkness. Because of Him, we will always come out victorious.“

Stacey Tyler

About: My name is Stacey Willis Tyler, and I am a Worship Pastor at Life.Church Hendersonville just north of Nashville, TN. I grew up in the state of Arkansas and came into a relationship with Jesus at the age of 7! I feel so lucky to have been aware of the presence of God at such a young age. I know that it’s rare, and I don’t take that for granted. As far as music goes, it is not something that I pursued until later in life. Music always kind of just showed up in my life. A lot of people saw that gifting in me WAY before I realized I had it and gave me opportunities through the years that shaped my musical life. Fast forward to now, and I have been married to Wesley Tyler for three years, have lived in Nashville for almost 10 years, and have been in full-time ministry for 6 years. I get the best of both worlds writing worship music for Life.Church Worship and being boots on the ground pastoring people. I get to be a songwriter and a pastor, and it is truly my passion and calling.

A word about the song and project: This song moved me and reminded me how important it is to surrender every day, every moment, and every minute of my life to the one who loves me more than I will ever comprehend. He gave up everything for me, so I will give him everything. It’s the only response I know to have.

I have never met him (Methven), but I feel that I know Methven because I know his heart. His passion for this project and his drive to create something beautiful to draw people closer to Jesus is inspiring to me. I just feel thankful to have been trusted to steward something so close to him.

Caitie Hurst.jpg

Caitie Hurst

About: Hey, I’m Caitie Hurst!!! I’m a singer, songwriter, and worship leader originally from Nashville, TN. I started following Jesus when I was 8 years old when I was in my 3rd grade classroom. My teacher was giving a math lesson (nothing to do with Jesus!) and I wasn’t paying any attention, and raised my hand and told my teacher I wanted to know Jesus, and so she stopped the whole class and took me outside and asked more about what I meant by that. She then told me to pray and tell the Lord I wanted to know Him personally, and so I did!

I grew up leading worship in my home church and later started traveling to different churches across the country leading worship, and this is what grew my love for music that connects people with, and draws people to Jesus. I began writing songs in middle school, but mostly pop. When I was 18, I remember hearing from God that I should use the gift He gave me to write songs that shared the gospel. So, I began to do that. I got signed to a Christian record label, Centricity Music, in 2017, and began writing more of those songs - with my one goal in mind: to share the gospel through music.

And over the past few years touring and seeing the impact music really does make on people, it has grown my passion for the Lord and for songwriting all the more! Music has such a powerful way of connecting with people like nothing else does. Sometimes God can speak to me more clearly in a song than anything else. So my prayer with any song I write, or any song I sing on - is that God would bring it to the ears of people who need to hear it, and that the purpose of it would be to give God the glory!

I am currently still living in Nashville, passionate about the local church, leading + writing worship music that strengthens the faith of the church. And also writing all kinds of different songs that draw people to want to understand more and know about the Jesus I love and that has changed my life!!!

A word about the song and project: I loved being a part of this project! This song (My Saviour) is meant to speak about how God sees and cares for us, and how to be reminded of that when we’re walking through times in our lives that aren’t particularly easy to remember that! I remember having psalm 23 in our minds when we were writing this and we wanted to put the truth in that scripture to song. I pray that whoever hears this song would be encouraged and reminded that they have a Saviour who LOVES them and cares for them so deeply!

Isaac Pittman

About: My name is Isaac Pittman! I am a CCM worship artist based out of Nashville TN. I serve at Renovation Church in Gallatin TN where I lead worship with their team. I write songs with the church in mind. I love serving the Body with the gifts Gods given me and will continue to do so as long as He allows.

A word about the song and project: This project has been a blessing to be a part of. “Disarmed by love” basically wrote itself! Gods immense grace and lavish love that He endlessly pours on us, is the very thing that causes us to surrender and lead us to repentance! I can’t wait for the world to hear this song and for it to become their own anthem.

Austin Cannon

About: Austin Cannon is a producer and songwriter based in Nashville, TN. His sound can be defined as modern analog - where classic synthesizers meet relevant production. He specializes in Pop, Electronic, and Christian Contemporary Music and is signed to Curb Records.

Austin started his career in music as a keyboard player and music director for several churches, artists, and bands. Having grown up in Oklahoma City, OK, involvement in a church worship team was practically the norm for any aspiring musician. It provided the opportunity to learn how to replicate popular worship patches as well as the know-how to create a sound of his own. In 2012, he joined a Christian band and toured the United States and Europe until 2016. During this time, he completed his B.A. in Music Production from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Oklahoma City. After college, Austin moved to Los Angeles, CA to intern at Six01 Studios. He also worked as the music director for Saddleback Church and played keyboards for various pop artists.

In later 2015, Austin and his newlywed wife Amanda moved back to Oklahoma City where he accepted the role of music director at Journey Church in Norman, OK. The church commissioned a full length record which would lay the foundation of Austin pursuing music production and songwriting as a career. It would also inevitably lead to his move to Nashville, TN. Austin and Amanda moved to Nashville in Spring 2017 where he now works full time writing and producing for various artists, publishers, and record labels. Austin and Amanda also had their first daughter, Ivy, in Fall of 2017
